Triple Crown is a headliner service sire out of the 2002 Canadian National Champion female, Remitall Sally 131X. His granddam, Remitall Sally Lass ET 120X is the mother of breed icon Remitall Boomer 46B. The Triple Crown females can be characterized as being very feminine with clean front ends and nice looking heads; very broody, with tremendous capacity, and udder structure and teat size and placement is ideal. The first daughters of Triple Crown had calves that were generally lighter birth weight and very high weaning weight ratios. The sons and grandsons of Triple Crown have the performance, muscle and overall phenotype to be competitive with any breed of cattle.

W124 is a son of Remitall Triple Crown 139T that traces back to RJ MS Tradition 35E, an outstanding female I purchased from Ray Johnson Herefords in Minnesota. 35E and every female in her three generation pedigree were either Benchmark or Dams of Distinction. W124 calves are moderate for birthweight and excel in the weaning category. His offspring have good bone structure, tremendous volume and length of body and look to make excellent females. His birthweight EPD of 7.3 is definitely out of line when you consider the birthweights of his calves. W124 had an adjusted birthweight of 85 pounds on 29 head. His 29 calves had a weaning ratio of 110.

Very similar numbers and stats to the W124 bull, this herd sire has all the attributes of his sire with additional growth and pigmentation. His mother was a Dam of Distinction Hunter daughter that always raised a good calf. W192 sired 29 calves with an adjusted birthweight of 85 pounds and a weaning ratio of 107.

T137 continues to prove his worth in his progeny. He is a high accuracy (.72) low birth weight EPD (.8) bull that sires tremendous volume and muscle in his offspring. His daughters are especially gentle and have level udders with good front and rear attachment and evenly placed, perfect sized teats. T137 and his offspring are favorites of many who have visited.

Walleye is a smaller framed Precise T137 son that has two calf crops on the ground out of first calf heifers. He sired 17 calves in 2012 with an adjusted birth weight of 76 pounds. Two sons of Walleye were used last summer on heifers and I am really excited to see their calves.

Sharpshooter is a Remitall Precise 212P son out of a Mohican Hunter 57H/MH Patriot 3159 cross cow, a mating that really clicked, producing very productive females. The Sharpshooter daughters are productive females with excellent udder qualities. Sharpshooter has a very good son in the offering, Z350, that has all the performance numbers and the style I am looking for in a herd sire.

W171 was selected as one of the best sons of Sharpshooter T112 to continue the genetic line. W171 has 56 calves to his credit with 32 of these calves born in 2012 with an adjusted birth weight of 83 and a birth ratio of 99. His 32 calves born this year had a weaning ratio of 105. A measure of a good breeding bull are when the sons out breed their sire. This is certainly the case with W171 as he has produced several sons each year he has been in service that are exceptional in every aspect and meet my criteria to carry on the genetic line. His heifer calves are top notch too. The Triple Crown and Sharpshooter lines seem to complement each other well.

U265 has been used successfully on heifers for three years. He sired 28 calves with an adjusted birth weight of 78 pounds. His first daughters will be calving this spring. U265 is getting a little big for first calf heifers and is available for sale.

S201 was used sparingly his first few years and after I have some of his daughters in production, I realized that I needed to use him some more. His mother and grandmother were very good Johnson cows that were in the herd a long time. S201’s mother is still sound uddered at twelve years of age. S201’s daughters have beautiful udders with much desired fore and aft attachment and proper size and shape. They are gentle cows with the capacity to carry a calf and consistently get the job done.

Governor has been used as a clean-up sire and he certainly stamps his calves with style. A top U246 daughter was Mitchell Stief’s, IA, pick of all the heifer calves this year. The Governor daughters are exceptional females with top quality udders.
